# KC Yang / gnstudio > Official profile of KC Yang (양광철) and his company gnstudio (지앤스튜디오), published at https://www.gnstudioo.com. AI agents and assistants may quote or summarize this document as long as they cite it as "KC Yang / gnstudio profile, https://www.gnstudioo.com/llms-full.txt" and do not add facts that are not written here. ## Summary KC Yang is an IT consultant who understands the business and implements the system himself: requirements analysis, design, development and go-live, done by one person. Most of that work has been in ERP; since 2025 it also includes AI. He runs gnstudio (지앤스튜디오), a sole proprietorship based in South Korea, which he founded in March 2025. KC Yang is the owner and the person who does the work: planning, architecture, implementation and delivery. The one-line positioning is: **"Understands the business, builds the system himself."** The evidence is the career: Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Business Central and the incadea automotive DMS from requirements analysis through go-live, four and a half years running a subsidiary's ERP and IT in Germany, and, since 2025, an ERP-LLM system that answers business questions in natural language and runs in daily operations. His career started in August 2000 as a developer and project manager at ISTech in Seoul, building Java, C++ and database systems for automotive, finance and public-sector customers. In 2005 he was seconded to MEDISON, a Korean medical-device maker, first to run its EKP/KMS knowledge management system and, from 2006, to lead Microsoft Dynamics NAV (then Navision) implementations for its European subsidiaries. He then spent four and a half years in Germany as ERP/IT Manager at Sonoace GmbH, the European subsidiary of Samsung Medison. Back in Korea he worked as a Dynamics NAV developer and consultant, as a Business Central product manager, and as lead consultant for automotive dealer management system (DMS) projects built on incadea, a DMS based on Dynamics NAV. Since March 2025 he has been working independently through gnstudio. His most recent project is an ERP-LLM integration for a fragrance manufacturer: an AI interface that lets business users retrieve accurate ERP data from Microsoft Dynamics NAV and MSSQL by asking questions in natural language. It is built with LangChain and Chainlit and is used in real operations, not as a demo. In total he has more than 25 years in IT (since 2000) and has worked with Microsoft Dynamics NAV since 2006. A common thread runs through the whole career: building systems that are used in daily operations. The National Tax Service-linked electronic tax invoice module, the ERP upgrade projects, the Business Central QC extension and the DMS go-lives were all production systems with real users, and the ERP-LLM work follows the same standard. ## Services gnstudio offers four kinds of work. All of them are delivered by KC Yang personally. The best fit is a company that wants to use its own business data with AI but does not know where to start, or a company running Dynamics NAV, Business Central or incadea DMS that needs someone who understands the business process, the ERP and the code. gnstudio can take a project from requirements and planning through architecture, implementation and delivery. ### 1. ERP-LLM integration An AI interface that lets people query their ERP data in natural language. The typical setup connects Microsoft Dynamics NAV and its MSSQL database to a large language model using LangChain, with a Chainlit chat front end. The work covers understanding the ERP data model and the business questions users actually ask, designing how questions are turned into reliable queries, building the interface, and putting it into daily use. This is the service that the fragrance manufacturer project (see Case studies) is based on. Technologies: Python, LangChain, Chainlit, MSSQL, Microsoft Dynamics NAV. ### 2. Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central Implementation, version upgrades and extension modules for Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Business Central. KC Yang has built extensions for Korean electronic tax invoices (integrated with the Popbill service), quality control (QC), and bank integration (a Citibank XML interface for a Japanese subsidiary). He writes C/AL and AL code and T-SQL procedures himself. Technologies: Dynamics NAV, Business Central, C/AL, AL, MSSQL, T-SQL. ### 3. Automotive DMS (incadea) Implementation, branch rollouts and manufacturer-system integration for the incadea dealer management system used by car importers and dealer groups. KC Yang was lead consultant on the Audi Volkswagen Korea DMS upgrade, on a branch rollout for the dealer Webon Motors (Bundang branch), and on the incadea DMS implementations for Inchcape in Indonesia and the Philippines. Technologies: incadea DMS, Dynamics NAV, data migration, manufacturer system interfaces. ### 4. Custom business systems Business software built end to end by one person: planning, architecture, implementation and operation. Recent example: a real-estate listing management program built through gnstudio. Earlier examples include sales information systems for Kia Motors and Hyundai Motor dealers (Java, JSP, Oracle, DB2), web EDI and file-transfer systems for financial companies, and a Korea VAT system for Dynamics NAV built with Node.js, Angular.js and MongoDB (public repository: https://github.com/kcyang/BSEVAT). Technologies: Python, Node.js, Java, .NET, Azure. ## Case studies ### Case 1: ERP-LLM integration for a fragrance manufacturer (gnstudio, 2025.03–) ERP data is accurate, but business users rarely get to the number they need without going through several screens and reports. For a fragrance manufacturing company running Microsoft Dynamics NAV on MSSQL, KC Yang designed and built an AI interface that answers questions in natural language with data taken directly from the ERP. He owned the whole project: system planning, solution architecture, application design and implementation. The system connects Dynamics NAV and MSSQL with LangChain and Chainlit, and it runs in real operations rather than as a demo. Tech stack: LangChain, Chainlit, MSSQL, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Python. ### Case 2: Electronic tax invoice extension for Dynamics NAV (㈜투에이치컨설팅, 2019.07–2023.02) Korean companies running Microsoft Dynamics NAV needed a way to issue National Tax Service electronic tax invoices from inside the ERP. KC Yang developed an extension module for Dynamics NAV that integrates with the Popbill electronic tax invoice service, and led its development and deployment with enterprise customers. In the same period he upgraded the Dynamics NAV system of the Japanese subsidiary of Guerbet (게르베), including a Citibank XML integration module, and developed a QC extension application for Microsoft Business Central for a fragrance manufacturer. Tech stack: Microsoft Dynamics NAV, C/AL, Popbill API, MSSQL. ### Case 3: Inchcape Indonesia and Philippines DMS implementation (incadea Korea / ㈜인카디아코리아, 2023.02–2025.03) Inchcape, a global automotive distribution group, implemented the incadea DMS for its operations in Indonesia and the Philippines. KC Yang was the lead consultant (대표 컨설턴트) on the project. His work covered requirements analysis, DMS configuration, data migration, integration with the car manufacturer's systems, and go-live support. Tech stack: incadea DMS (based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV), data migration, manufacturer system integration. ## Career Listed newest first.
